There has been some buzz surrounding an online product “secrets of skateboarding” and I thought I would take a look at it for you. I want to first say that Secrets of skateboarding is indeed a real product that provides skateboarding trick tips.

What we have here is a product that address a lot of the main areas of skateboarding which people have questions about or want to learn. They go through how to ollie, kick flip, steps to landing heel flips, and much more. This will help you learn how to skate fast.

The guide seeks to get a little deeper into how tricks are conducted. Rather then simply walking you how tricks are done in general they get into the details that are usually not addressed.

It is always good to get another persons perspective on how to ride so I would get a copy of secrets of skateboarding and learn those tricks that you just can’t figure out.

The other cool thing with this product is that they offer a complete money back guarantee if you aren’t satisfied. So what are you waiting for click the following link Click Here!

5. Get Sponsored
This is last on the list because it really is one of the hardest ways to get free stuff. Granted once you get to this stage the free stuff keeps on coming but don’t plan on getting sponsored over night. Some people can pick up a shop sponsor pretty quickly, say a few years after they start riding but the majority of riders don’t make it this far. I was riding for four years before I was riding for the local shop and that sponsorship translated into one free board a month.

4. Know Someone that is Sponsored
Chances are if you ride a lot you know someone in town who is on flow with at least one company. Any friendship needs to be sincere but if you do happen to have a friend that rides for someone sooner or later he/she will pass something along to you. The group of guys I ride with are always giving stuff to their friends.

3. Get to Know a Rep
A rep is an individual who travels a given territory and represents a company or brand. They are a traveling sales man who visits shops and tries to promote the company they work for. Part of this means giving away free stuff. I worked for a shop who had reps come in all the time that put on free mini demos of what every they were trying to push and they always gave something away when they did it. You see they are allowed a certain amount of stuff to give away at their discretion.

2. Demos
If you have ever gone to a demo you know what I am talking about. The point to a demo is to advertise a company by having all of its riders put on a show. Usually at the end of the demo they will have a product toss and if you are in the right place you could end up with some cool swag. Any good demo would be hard to leave without at least getting s few stickers.

1. Giveaways
You are reading this from a site that is giving away free stuff so I don’t think I need to explain. There are tons of places that offer similar deals. After book-marking this site, do a Google search to see what else is out there that people are giving away. Remember you can’t win if you don’t enter.

Rather then breaking down each trick separately I will address shuvits in general. There are two ways to do the trick, with pop, and with out pop. If you are looking to take these tricks down stairs, off of a drop, or into other tricks you need to learn them with pop. That said it may be easier to learn them with out popping.

Shuvits are all in the scooping action of the back foot. Every one feels comfortable with a different stance but if you start by setting up like you were going to do an ollie that would be a good start. The trick is to not have you front foot interfere with the rotation. The Front foot shouldn’t do any of the work on the take off; its purpose is in the landing by stopping the rotation. Do not use your front foot to rotate the board.

If you are having trouble getting the board to rotate correctly try standing stationary with your board in front of you and work on scooping the board with one foot. This may seem like a dumb exercise but it will help you to become familiar with how to scoop the board with one foot. Hope this helps,

Have you, for some reason or another, spent time off of your board and feel like you lost the ability to ride? Skateboarding is just like anything else, the more you do it the better you get, the less you do it the more you lose. So, what should you do if you can’t ride for an extended period of time?

The first thing I would say is don’t worry about it, it’s not the end of the world. I have had a few times where the time spent off of the board actually helped me lose some bad habits.

When you are finally on your board, ease into your riding. You can not pick up where you left off. This is important to remember for two reasons. The first is that you will probably hurt yourself the second is that you will probably end up disappointed.

When the time comes to ride again, start slow and go with the tricks you are comfortable with. Cursing around doing ollies and 180s may not seem like a ton of fun but after an injury you would be surprised. By sticking with the tricks you know your self esteem begins to build and your muscle memory begins to come back. After a day of landing every thing you tried you would be surprised how good you feel. Before you know it you will be back to where you were prior to the short absence.
